This season our scouting department will be giving an update prior to the start of each game week to give you all the information you need to get your team top of the standings.
Roster Moves
Lets look at what’s happened in Manchester first with one player in and one player out. David Morley has spent all of his ten professional seasons in Europe with most of them being spent in Norway where he averaged an extremely impressive 1.31 points per game. The last two years were in the DEL2 where he averaged just over a point per game again. At 36, does he still home some gas left in the tank? Bring him in your team for 8.5M and find out. As a result of bringing in Morley, Storm also announced that Patrick Kudla has left.
Our final signing is in Belfast where they have brought in former Clan defenceman Jason Fram who 22 points last season, with a favourable 11 goal/11 assist split for fantasy point production. He is added back at his price from last year, 6.5M.
FHL UK Points Update
The goalie market is a difficult one to get right for your team this year with a number of teams having their “cheaper” goalie scoring more points than the more expensive goalie (Cardiff/Coventry). Let’s look at the goalie scores so far this season –

If we look at Cardiff and Coventry we have Christian Stoever and Sisu Heikkeri outscoring the more experienced colleagues Ben Bowns and Evan Fitzpatrick. Both goalie tandems are still splitting playing time so is it worth sticking with Bowns/Fitzpatrick knowing that they will come good during the season? The other big surprise is the huge points difference (189 points) between Jake Kupsky and Jackson Whistle. Over the last few seasons Whistle has been one of the most selected players so to see him struggling and his playing time reduced is a surprise. At the moment Kupsky is the clear choice for your team. One player to watch at the moment is Fife’s Blake Pietila who has taken over most of the playing time in the Flyers goal for a team picking up some impressive victoies as of late.

📌 WEEK NOTES
- Every team plays exactly two games this week.
- Manchester Storm vs Sheffield Steelers is a full home‑and‑home series across Friday and Saturday.
- Coventry Blaze vs Nottingham Panthers is also a home‑and‑home doubleheader across the weekend.
- Belfast Giants vs Guildford Flames completes the third weekend home‑and‑home series.
- Friday features three fixtures, Saturday three fixtures, and Sunday four fixtures.
- No team has a 3‑game week, making player selection more focused on form and fixture quality rather than volume.
- Dundee Stars and Glasgow Clan each split their fixtures between home and away ice.
- With no team having a volume advantage, fantasy managers may want to prioritise recent form and special teams production when making captain selections.
