Our final winner of the season is Backstrom the Brink and their GM James Rutter who claimed the Fantasy NHL League we set-up for the second year running. We had two close semi-final games only for the final to be one-sided with Backstrom the Brink dominating from early on over the final two and half weeks of the regular season. They beat Belaks Blaze in to second place, runners up for two years in a row, with The Kessel Run winning the 3rd/4th place playoff to claim the final podium spot.

We can have a close look at how the final was won and despite a strong start on the opening day by Belaks Blaze, Backstrom the Brink gained points on almost every day after that with some minus points days thrown in by Belaks Blaze not helping. The minus scores were brought about with a bad night for the goalies and they formed a major part of the final scoring with Backstrom the Brink gaining 44.6 points from their trio of Carter Hart, Ukko-Pekka Luukkonen and Joel Hofer, while Belaks Blaze scored -17.2 points seven different goalies.

As a final recap here are the league standings by division and overall. We’ll be back with at least one league next season depending on demand so more information will be on our site and across socials prior to next season.
