Benjamin Corbeil took the Gameweek 3 player honours with 52 fantasy points, but the biggest statement in the FHL standings came from Hard to Yandle. A second-place weekly return of 472.2 extended the overall leader’s advantage to 93.5 points, while The Kessel Run topped the gameweek with 490.1.
On the ice, Corbeil’s hat-trick helped Nottingham Panthers beat Manchester Storm 5-1. Guildford Flames supplied three of the week’s leading four fantasy performers, and a busy schedule of 11 fixtures brought mixed results for Sheffield Steelers, Belfast Giants and Glasgow Clan.
🏒 Hat-tricks and changing fortunes
Nottingham recovered from a 5-3 defeat at Cardiff Devils to beat Manchester, with Corbeil adding three goals to his power-play strike at Cardiff. Dundee Stars also had a hat-trick scorer: Rasmus Nousiainen struck three times in their 5-3 victory over Glasgow, before the Stars lost 3-2 at Fife Flyers.
Guildford opened with a 7-4 win against Sheffield, then lost 4-3 at Manchester. Sheffield’s three-game week also included a 3-1 victory over Cardiff and a 4-2 defeat at Coventry Blaze. Coventry scored the first four goals of that encounter before the Steelers pulled two back.
Glasgow’s week began with defeats at Manchester and Dundee, but ended with a 4-1 home win over Belfast. The Giants had beaten Fife 5-2 the previous evening. Manchester, meanwhile, finished with two wins from three fixtures, adding their victory over Guildford to a 2-1 opening win against Glasgow.

⭐ Corbeil edges Guildford’s leading performers
Corbeil’s four goals delivered 52 fantasy points, just one more than Mathieu Gosselin, who recorded two goals and two assists for 51. Cole Sanford followed on 49.5 with two goals and three assists, while Joshua Waller’s five assists contributed to a 46-point fantasy return.
Those totals underline the difference between hockey scoring points and FHL fantasy points. Sanford recorded five goals-plus-assists points, compared with Corbeil’s four, but Corbeil finished ahead under the fantasy scoring system.
Victor Bjorkung led the defencemen on 39 fantasy points after one goal and two assists. Carl Stankowski was the leading goaltender with 24.1, recording one win and 71 saves. Drew DeRidder finished close behind on 23.9 from one win and 69 saves.
The weekly player lead therefore passed from JJ Piccinich, who scored 75 fantasy points in Gameweek 2, to Corbeil. Piccinich still added 41 this week, keeping him prominent in the season totals.
🏆 Hard to Yandle stretches the lead
Hard to Yandle now has 1,346.5 points overall. No Regretzkys moved from third to second on 1,253, while Ballycastle Puffins climbed from seventh to third with 1,249.4. Only 3.6 points separate those two challengers.
Tellmema slipped from second to fourth on 1,242.4, with Scott Land Nil fifth on 1,212.7. Lord of the Rinks rose four places to sixth, while Shooting Stars Watch Us Fly climbed ten places to ninth.
The Kessel Run’s 490.1-point weekly win lifted them from 277th to 123rd overall, a gain of 154 places. Hard to Yandle finished second for the week and Subbuteo Kings third on 455.6. That follows a Gameweek 2 in which No Regretzkys led the weekly table with 550.1, while Hard to Yandle scored 523.1.
📈 Three-week form takes shape
Three completed gameweeks are now available, so the five-week form window is still building. Piccinich leads the recorded season fantasy totals on 144, averaging 48 per gameweek. Mike Lee follows on 134, just 0.1 ahead of Matthew Greenfield on 133.9.
Scott Conway and Mitchell Balmas are level on 128.5. These are totals through Gameweek 3; averages are per gameweek, not per appearance. After Belfast players filled the leading three weekly positions in Gameweek 2, Corbeil and Guildford’s contributors gave this week’s individual rankings a different shape.
Hard to Yandle has strengthened its position at the top, while the fight immediately behind remains much tighter. The Kessel Run’s climb shows how far one strong week can carry a team; the leader’s second-place weekly finish shows why closing that overall gap will require a substantial return.
