One of the big changes for 2026/27 is that we have expanded the scoring to add in some new statistics. Full details are below but we are now adding in non goal scoring statistics so all players have a chance of picking up some points each game even if they aren’t involved in any goals. This should give the lower valued players some more consistent scoring rather than only scoring a few times across the season.
Here is the new scoring for this season. You can see for Forwards and Defence we have added Plus/Minus, shots on goal and blocked shots. For goalies we have added minus points for goals against, but increased the points for saves and wins.
Forwards
Even Strength Goal – 10 points
Even Strength Assist – 7 points
PP Goal (in addition to assist) – 3 points
PP Assist (in addition to assist) – 2 points
SH Goal (in addition to assist) – 5 points
SH Assist(in addition to assist) – 3 points
Plus/Minus – 1 point for a plus and -1 point for a minus
Shot on Goal – 1 point
Face Off Win – plus 0.5 points
Face Off Loss – minus 0.5 points
Blocked Shot – 1 point
Defence
Even Strength Goal – 12 points
Even Strength Assist – 10 points
PP Goal (in addition to assist) – 4 points
PP Assist (in addition to assist) – 3 points
SH Goal (in addition to assist) – 7 points
SH Assist(in addition to assist) – 5 points
Plus/Minus – 1 point for a plus and -1 point for a minus
Shot on Goal – 1 point
Face Off Win – plus 0.5 points
Face Off Loss – minus 0.5 points
Blocked Shot – 1 point
Goalie
Win – 20 points
Goals Against – minus 0.5 points
Saves – 0.1 point per save
Shutouts – 25 points
