This season our scouting department will be giving an update prior to the start of each game week to give you all the information you need to get your team top of the standings.
Roster Moves
No roster moves this week so let’s have a look on the player selections to see who our GM’s have been trading for. Matt Marcinew is the most traded for player for the second week in a row with an additional 3 GM’s bringing him in. They’ll be slightly disappointed by his 10 points last week. Jake Kupsky’s form and playing time for Belfast have seen him traded for by 3 GM’s as well. Finally we have three Guildford players who have all gathered support in the last week. Marcus Tesink and Mathieu Gosselin have been traded in by three teams, while Charlie Curti has two additional transfers.
In terms of those who have been traded away it is Jackson Whistle who was dropped by 7 teams after not playing for a number of weeks now, although he was on the gamesheet backing up Kupsky for both games on the weekend. Matt Alfaro has also been dropped by 4 GM’s after news broke that he is out injured for the foreseeable future.
Who’s Hot?
After Coventry and Nottingham play in the cup final this week we are just left with Elite League games until the end of the season. Each teams will play 54 games during the season so at this late stage having players from those teams who have more games can be beneficial. Lets look at how many games each team has left in league play.
| Belfast Giants | 8 games remaining |
| Nottingham Panthers | 7 games remaining |
| Sheffield Steelers | 7 games remaining |
| Cardiff Devils | 7 games remaining |
| Manchester Storm | 8 games remaining |
| Guildford Flames | 6 games remaining |
| Coventry Blaze | 7 games remaining |
| Glasgow Clan | 7 games remaining |
| Dundee Stars | 7 games remaining |
| Fife Flyers | 6 games remaining |
So if you are torn between trading for a Manchester or Guildford player then the Storm player having an extra two games should be an important factor.
