This season our scouting department will be giving an update prior to the start of each game week to give you all the information you need to get your team top of the standings.
Roster Moves
No new signings this week but we have news of some departures which will affect those GM’s who have these players on their roster. First up is Belfast’s Sam Jones who has retired at just 28 years old due to health issues caused by a long standing injury. There are still 16 teams with him on their roster although having not scored a point since week 4 maybe those GM’s will finally lose faith. Next we have Ivan Chukarov who has left the Coventry Blaze after scoring 9 points in 23 league games this season. There are currently 10 GM’s who have Ivan on their roster.
Jake Gravelle has also left Guildford after being the odd man out in terms of ice time on the Flames blueline. He leaves 14 GM’s looking to fill a gap in their roster. Finally we have Marcus Eriksson who has left Belfast to return back home to Sweden. 24 points in the league this season is a good return for the 12 GM’s left who have him on their roster.
Who’s Hot?
We haven’t visited the goalie numbers for a while so lets look at the top scoring players for the last five weeks. Ben Bown’s injuries for Cardiff mean he isn’t on the list but back-up Christan Stoever slots in to the top 3 in his place. Coventry’s Mat Robson is also averaging 28 points per week to drive Coventry’s good form in the league while Nottingham duo Jason Grande and Kevin Carr can’t be split on playing time and points.
