This season our scouting department will be giving an update prior to the start of each game week to give you all the information you need to get your team top of the standings.
Roster Moves
No more roster moves this week so let’s catch up on the player selections instead.
In terms of overall selections the trading away of Colton Saucerman continues. Having had as many as 230 selections in week 7, he is now down to 168 selections now, which is still highest overall. Saucerman was back in the lineup this weekend for an in-form Coventry team so maybe it is time to bring him back in. The rest of the top five are Brandon Estes (138 selections), Mitchell Balmas (127 selections), Mike Lee (110 selections) and Dominic Cormier (109 selections).
David Booth continues to gather support this week with an additional five selections to take him to 26 overall now. He is averaging 29.4 points over his first five scoring weeks so far and is valued at just 7.0M. Jere Vertanen has also has an additional five selections as he continues his hot scoring streak of 33.8 points per week over the last five game weeks. Another player with five additional selections and an 33.8 point average is Mitchell Balmas. Finally Drew DeRidder is the final player with five additional selections over the last week as he continues to split time in goal for a low 6.5M.
Who’s Hot?
The scout has noticed that a number of Elite League teams are playing much better over the last few weeks, so lets have a league at each teams form for the last six games. In terms of selections you would obviously want more players in your team from the form Elite league teams.

For our pick this week it makes sense to go for a Nottingham player while they have an extra game and we’ll go for a slightly riskier pick in Matt Alfaro who is only the 9th highest fantasy scorer this season, but is averaging 28 points per week in their last three weeks they had fixtures.
Current average points per week so far – 25.71 points.
