This season our scouting department will be giving an update prior to the start of each game week to give you all the information you need to get your team top of the standings.
Roster Moves
Last week we talked about a falling out between the Steelers and Logan Neilson which resulted in him moving to Fife, this week we have the immediate sacking of Cliff Pu for as yet unknown reasons. Time will tell if a replacement is brought in but for the time being we have 36 GM’s who will need to trade him away this week. Our other departure this week is Jaka Sturm who appears to be the odd man out in Fife with some who were out with long term injuries now due to return. With no points in league play it is easy to see why only one GM has Sturm in their team.
In terms of additions we first have Brady Risk who joins the Clan after starting his first professional season in the Allsvenskan with Ljungby. He had four very productive and consistent seasons in the NCAA with 13 goals in each of the last three seasons and at least 23 points as well. With only four points in Sweden this year it is hard to gauge what he could do in Glasgow so the 6.5M value could be great value or slightly expensive. The other new signing is Jakob Stridsberg, who we seen putting up 17 points in Coventry last year. He remains at the same value as last year at 6.5M.
Who’s Hot?
There were a lot of our GM’s who seen the injury to Mitchell Fossier last week and quickly made the change to replace him with Chase Pearson. Fossier was traded out by 22 GM’s in the last week with Pearson (12), Jordan Kawaguchi (6), Mathieu Gosselin (6), Mitchell Balmas (5), Matthew Gleason (5) and Cole Ully (5) all gathering an increased ownership as a result.
Last week we had some big scores from the goalies so lets catch up with the top scoring goalies from the last five weeks to see who is taking up the playing time lately.

| Ben Bowns | Cardiff Devils | 9.5M | 158 |

For our pick of the week last week we were torn between Mike Lee and Jordan Kawaguchi last week with Belfast having three games and we luckily went for the right one with Mike Lee who picked up 25 points with Kawaguchi surprisingly held scoreless. Lee’s fellow defenceman Gabe Bast would have been the better pick though for 52 points. For week 15 we are going to stick with a safe bet in a Glasgow player, with having three games in the week. The only problem is that there isn’t much form to use to make our pick. Let’s go with Deven Sideroff who is still getting plenty of ice time and shots without much success.
Current average points per week so far – 25 points.

Upcoming Schedule
Week 15 could be a difference maker in the FHL UK standings starts with Belfast playing just the once whereas Glasgow have three games starting with the Challenge Cup elimination game in Glasgow with Nottingham the visitors. Glasgow’s other games are a home and home with Fife on the Friday and Saturday. Guildford have two games this week starting at home against Coventry on Saturday before travelling to Nottingham on Sunday. The other game on Saturday is second versus third with Cardiff hosting Sheffield, and Sheffield complete their two game road trip with a visit to Coventry on Sunday.
After three games in three days last week, Belfast’s only game of the week is at home to Dundee on the Sunday. Manchester then have two games at home to round off our game week starting at home to Cardiff on Sunday before a rare Tuesday game against Dundee which makes it before our weekly cut-off.
