This season our scouting department will be giving an update prior to the start of each game week to give you all the information you need to get your team top of the standings.
Roster Moves
After a falling out in Sheffield, Logan Nielson has moved up to Fife and has a goal already in his first weekend of games. He got 16 minutes of ice time in both games and at just 5.0M GM’s could start to see a return on his value after featuring rarely for Sheffield. Sheffield also added two Scottish prospects in Bailey Yates and Joe Lynch who are not likely to feature for the Steelers and are added at 4.0M.
Who’s Hot?
This week lets look at who the GM’s are identifying as the most in form players. To do this we’ll look at which are the top 10 traded for players over the prior five weeks –
| Player | Team | Value | Net Trades | Total Selections |
| Gary Haden | Manchester Storm | 8.0M | +20 | 65 |
| Mitchell Balmas | Sheffield Steelers | 11.0M | +17 | 91 |
| Kevin Carr | Nottingham Panthers | 7.0M | +16 | 63 |
| Jordan Kawaguchi | Belfast Giants | 10.0M | +14 | 56 |
| Matthew Gleason | Coventry Blaze | 5.5M | +14 | 69 |
| Nicholas Welsh | Manchester Storm | 8.0M | +12 | 34 |
| Brady Gilmour | Manchester Storm | 7.0M | +12 | 58 |
| Mitchell Fossier | Nottingham Panthers | 10.5M | +10 | 127 |
| Connor Russell | Coventry Blaze | 5.0M | +10 | 14 |
| Chase Pearson | Nottingham Panthers | 8.5M | +9 | 66 |
Our pick of week 13 was Chase Pearson who picked up a couple of goals over the weekend for a 20 point haul. We were hoping for a few more considering the three games he had. For week 14 we need to look at Belfast players while they are the only team to have three games in the week. With having just the one game and one goal last week there wasn’t many points going around, but Mike Lee and Jordan Kawaguchi are clearly their top scorers this season. Let’s see if Mike Lee can pick up some points from the blueline this week.
Current average points per week so far – 25 points.
