The second week of the FHL season is in the books, and we’re already seeing the league table stretch out as some teams charge forward while others are left chasing. With two gameweeks complete, trends are starting to emerge – and some managers will already be rethinking their early selections.
Out of the Blocks
District 5 stormed to the top of the weekly standings with 432.6 points, the highest total of GW2.
They were closely followed by No Dowd About It (419.6 pts) and Ulett The Dogs Out (413.0 pts), both putting in strong early statements of intent.
Big Movements in the Table
Ulett The Dogs Out are the new overall leaders after two weeks, moving into 1st place on 762.6 points. That GW2 surge (413.0) was enough to leapfrog the field and set the early season pace.
Laight Again, who topped the table after GW1, slipped back after a quieter week; Orange Juus also took a step down the board. On the other hand, big GW2 totals from District 5 and No Dowd About It have propelled them up the standings and firmly into the early contender conversation.
Star Players of Gameweek 2
Individual brilliance lit up GW2, with several skaters and a netminder standing tall:
- Brandon Estes (D) – Led all scorers with 61 points thanks to a goal and four assists.
- Jordan Kawaguchi (F) and Joseph Hazeldine (D) both racked up 53 points.
- Tristin Langan (F) chipped in 51 points with 3 goals and 3 assists.
- Between the pipes, Jackson Whistle (G) stole the show with a shutout and 38 fantasy points, proving that goaltending can make or break a week.
Most Selected Players
Managers are still putting their trust in some familiar names:
- Colton Saucerman continues to be the most-owned player, in a massive 191 teams.
- Jason Grande (90) and Alessio Luciani (88) remain popular picks, while Matthew Greenfield (84) and JJ Piccinich (82) round out the top five.
Early Takeaways
- Week-to-week volatility is already clear – hot starters like Laight Again and Orange Juus stumbled, while others surged.
- Goaltending remains a game-changer, as shown by Jackson Whistle’s shutout.
- Managers with Brandon Estes will be smiling – that 61-point week could be season-defining if he keeps that form.
