This season our scouting department will be giving an update prior to the start of each game week to give you all the information you need to get your team top of the standings.
Roster Moves
With just two weeks remaining till the end of the season there are no roster moves to go over this week, but it is time to start using up your remaining trades for the season to move up a few of those vital FHL UK league places. Let’s look at who other GM’s having been trading for and also releasing.
Top traded for player this week is Manchester’s Brady Gilmour, who we highlighted last week has an extra game still to play over most of the other teams in the league. The three extra GM’s who brought him in will be pleased with his one goal and three assists for a 36 point haul. An additional five players were brought in by two teams over the last week and among them was Cardiff’s Cole Sanford who lead the week in points with 52 (1 goal and 5 assists). Others with two selections were Drew DeRidder, Riley Brandt, Tim Doherty and Tristin Langan.
It was pretty clear on the player GM’s dropped this week as Gary Haden’s selections reduced by five after he had five blank scores in the last seven weeks. He then went and had his best score since week 17 with 26 points. Did these GM’s drop him too early knowing that he still has 6 games left to play. Others who look like they were dropped to early were Josh Waller, who was let go by two GM’s but then went and scored 25 points in the week.

Our AI colleague picked Brendan Harris last week as their pick of the week and he picked up just the 16 points for a fairly disappointing return. This week’s pick is –
Brandon Cutler (Manchester Storm)
He has:
- 40 points in Week 28 — the best form of any 3‑game player
- Plays big minutes and is heavily involved in Storm’s offence
- Manchester’s 3‑game slate gives him the highest ceiling of the week
- He’s streaky, but when he’s hot, he’s really hot
