Who’s Hot?
As we have now completed week 6 it is time for our regular value increases for the top 10 scoring players so far. If you already have the player in your team there will be no change but if you want to bring them in once the next week clicks over then it will cost you an additional 0.5M. The idea being that it benefits those GM’s who identified the in form players quickly, and also means we don’t have very similar teams, and therefore scores, during the season.
Here are the players who will see a value increase.
| Player | Team | Old Value | New Value |
| Mike Lee | Belfast Giants | 8.0M | 8.5M |
| Mitchell Fossier | Nottingham Panthers | 10.0M | 10.5M |
| Brandon Estes | Cardiff Devils | 7.5M | 8.0M |
| Tristin Langan | Glasgow Clan | 8.0M | 8.5M |
| Mitchell Balmas | Sheffield Steelers | 10.0M | 10.5M |
| Jordan Kawaguchi | Belfast Giants | 9.0M | 9.5M |
| Colton Saucerman | Coventry Blaze | 7.0M | 7.5M |
| Jackson Whistle | Belfast Giants | 8.5M | 9.0M |
| Derek Gentile | Sheffield Steelers | 8.0M | 8.5M |
| David Noël | Nottingham Panthers | 8.5M | 9.0M |
Our pick of the week last week was Mitch Fossier who picked up a superb 47 points, bringing out average score for the year up to 31.25 if you followed us in.
For week 7 it isn’t easy to identify team with a good set of fixtures. Coventry and Fife have an extra game but the Blaze’s offence has been struggling of late and Fife are bottom of the league and cup standings. Of the teams playing twice, Sheffield play Guildford and Manchester and scored 10 goals over the last weekend, while the Panthers also scored 10 goals in their home and home against Dundee. Lets hope the extra game will make the difference and take a slight risk with a Fife player while they have two home games. Josh Winquist has been impressive so far so lets go for him this week.
Current average points per week so far – 31.25 points.
